Skunks at Scarborough
 Same old story. It was howling when I arrived at Scarborough Beach, it died while I was rigging. at least I was skunked in R.I. for a change.After not windsurfing, I visited my mother in Conn. She had her hip replaced 1 week go and is doing great. Go Mom! Picture- Scarborough had the waves, no wind. |

Bah, bad luck!
Sergey and I woke at 5:30 and should have just gone to West Dennis, where it blew 25 from about 7am to 10:30am. But we didn't. It came up like crazy at Pleasure Bay, so we both dashed there. By the time I got there, it had fallen from 25-30 to about 10.
Scott- I had imagined that everyone but me had gone to West Dennis and had a great time, just like last weekend. Now I don't feel quite as bad.
Alright Steve, I admit that when it comes to computer management, I'm lazy at best.
I figure that when you skip over my beach to sail at First Encounter, it's time to learn how to comment.
Skaket produces almost identical conditions, with easier parking / access. Lisa and those guys sail at Skaket too.
When it comes to a NW or NNW, I think the angle is better at home. The tack is slightly side off (off to the south)
We're gonna hook up one of these days. I can't complain after last Thursday being the biggest sailing of the year - no kiters out. Yesterday morning a surf session made it easier to spend the afternoon inside at laser tag in Hyannis.

Hey, Ron, I was thinking about you on Saturday! I was hoping that the kiting crew was going to pick Skaket so I could finally kite/sail in your pond.
I'm not sure that you want me there these days though, since I'll fly a kite if the wind is under 20!
I would have loved some company windsurfing when the wind cranked up. I couldn't believe that everyone else left just when the wind got good. I seem to be sailing solo more and more. Maybe you're experienceing the same trend.
