Wow - amazing sunrise(?!) shot, Steve. If you don't stop to look around, you can forget how awesome we have it here in Massachusetts.

Great shot of sunrise! I don't know how you do it. I remember it being nice, but your photo makes it look spectacular. I wish I had that talent.

Brad- Thanks. The hardest part was finding some crazy kiter who wanted to pump up and launch before the sun was up. The rest was just being there.

Chris- Hey, thanks about the photo! Yeah, looking around is definitely part of what I love about kiting!

Beautiful shots Steve. As always. Thanks for sharing. And Brad, impressive lip smacking!

Where is Deep Hole?

Thanks Christophe. Deep Hole is in R.I. If you look under Posts by Location in the left menu of my blog and select Deep Hole/Matunuck you'll find more posts and info about that spot than you'd ever want to read.

Seems like a good spot. What are its benefits over Horseneck? What I see that don't like are the boulders.

Jean- Not any huge benefit. Sometimes the waves are shaped nice. With S swell and W wind the waves are set waves, sorta clean, but Horseneck can be like that too. Nostalgic spot for me. Very photogenic. One of my all time favorite spots for taking pics. Brad's probably got something to say on that question too.
