Yee-Haw! I had 2 days in a row of joyous punishment for my body. I feel so mellow and happy. Don't talk to me about earthquakes, tsunamis, nuclear melt downs, political uprisings, or teenagers that won't put the rubber bands on their braces. Real life will just ruin my good mood.

I read your update early in the week and had a common fret - rubber bands on braces. My daughter took hers off 2+ weeks ago.
Not only did the dentist praise her for being an astute patient, he rewarded her by saying the treatment is done. The tracks come off next week! Sometimes you catch a break.

Hey, that's a major milestone! i hope I'm still alive when my youngest son gets them off, if he ever does. It's about 1 year overdue now.
Did you windsurf to celebrate?
My youngest has about 6 months before he starts.
With college on the horizon, I'll be in the poor house for many years to come.
No sailing this week, but the season has started. One thing of note, I just got my Bare back from a shop in Maine where they converted it to a neoprene neck. Sturgis Marine in Hyannis facilitated the work for $70. Can't wait to try it.

Ron- Sorry to hear about the college & braces rock around your neck.
I love the neoprene neck on my new drysuit! It's so comfortable I could sleep in my drysuit. Then I could roll out of bed and hit the water as I'm waking up, fun.
